Our Team

YETI Robotics is a community FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team created through a partnership between CPCC and YETI, Inc.  Our team is a mixture of high school-age public, private, and home schooled students. Students have an opportunity to learn through presentations and hands-on application.  As a part of your community, we want to raise awareness about computer science and engineering.

Our successful inaugural year included earning the Rookie Inspiration Award and being on the winning alliance team at the NC regional which got us to the championship in St. Louis!  The championship in St. Louis was an opportunity to meet many other robotics teams from around the nation and around the world!  Our strong start laid the foundation for building a larger team, a second all-female FTC Team,  and to support several FLL ( FIRST Lego League) teams.

We also love having visitors. If you would like to see YETI team members in action, we meet at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Central Campus at 1201 Charlottetown Ave. Charlotte, NC 28204. Join the excitement in room 301D in the Advanced Technologies Center (ATC). Parking is available in the student parking decks off of E. Independence Blvd. or N. Kings Drive.
